Project Catalyst is an experiment in community innovation, providing a framework to turn ideas into impactful real-world projects. They are putting the community at the heart of Cardano’s future development. They focus on creating, funding, and delivering the future of Cardano.
Catalyst help to Innovate together. Anyone who has an idea can create an impactful proposal and collaborate with the community to develop and refine it.
Users can vote for their favorite ideas. Use a voting app to choose ideas with impact worth funding. Users get rewarded in Ada for taking part.
Stay up to date by receiving regular updates on all the funded ideas, so you can follow along and see how things are progressing.
Several initiatives are already ongoing. How can we create a positive developer experience that helps the developer focus on building successful apps? What applications will provide the most value for end-users in 2021? How can we help the catalyst community to get better at distributed decision-making within the next two catalyst rounds?
How can we encourage entrepreneurs from outside the Cardano ecosystem to submit proposals to Catalyst in the following two funds? How can we encourage meaningful participation in project catalysts from community members in the next two funds? How can we utilize transaction metadata to solve real-world problems? Grow Africa, Grow Cardano. Scale Up Cardano’s Defi Ecosystem are just a few to name.
Charles Hoskinson expressed: I would really love to see the Reach Lang proposal on Catalyst pass. I like the team and their work. The community needs to support projects like this.
Community was like, Unbiased opinion: we wholeheartedly agree. Let’s make it happen. Bridge builders. This sounds like a solid project. I was just checking them out; they look very cool. I will get my vote.
Cardano Summit Summary: 1 x Virtual World Online and accessible on as many devices as can technically support. VR optional.
7 x Cardano Event Hubs Hosted in the most requested locations – Wyoming, NYC, Miami, London, Berlin, Cape Town, Tokyo.
20 x Community-led Events Akin to a meetup, run by the Cardano Community in the Top 20 sign-up locations. Host applications are now open.
Community Enthusiasm: I’ll be there vicariously through all those who can attend. You can be there online through the virtual (online) world, invite some friends – no VR equipment required.
Are people still allowed to visit in person on the 24th and the 25th? I believe the location is of Wyoming (Laramie, WY) but want to make sure?
Critics: ADA is only a BUZZ project. It only creates huge buzz and nothing.
