ODELL expressed:  I wish Bitcoiners would fight against government mandated surveillance policies the way they fight against shit coins.

Shitcoins are not a threat to bitcoin. They are a threat to those who choose to speculate on them. Every major bitcoin company creating and storing insecurely lists of bitcoiners and our transaction history is a direct threat to us and should be treated as such.

We need more builders working on Bitcoin and lighting, make the world you want to live in don’t just talk about it.

Community reaction:  A few “maxis” throwing in the towel. Will only help family & friends going forward. In other words, they quit. Real type A personalities, lol. They got the price wrong, the fee rate/mempool wrong, the protocol wrong, L2 wrong, etc. Fight the man? How can they? They’re wiped.

Adopting bitcoin and actually using privacy features *is* fighting against these surveillance policies. Last week they rugged Island Coin, which probably discouraged a nonzero number of pre-bitcoiners. Warning noobs not to buy in to rug pull projects is fine.

Unfortunately, bitcoin has been infiltrated by a lot of pro-authoritarian government people. They love the government for all of their policies and they demand more of it. This was unthinkable years ago in the beginning of bitcoin. You can’t be anti-freedom, and pro bitcoin at the same time.

Too much interest in number going up too little interest in the whole point of crypto: Cypherpunk guess is to be expected when revolutionary ideas end up being profitable, but it is still infuriating.

That happens when it comes to the time to sell and withdraw to the banks, and the exchanges KYC/AML them to the point they can’t withdraw.

Most bitcoin shaggers want to be owned by the government although they forget that bitcoin was made for the opposite.

They won’t realize it until it becomes a black mirror episode where EVERY transaction and EVERY thing, they did on the blockchain traces back to them.

It’s impossible to fight against govts, I mean look at China and North Korea. (No offense).

I wish bitcoiners would fight against fashists and neo-nazis the way they fight against shitcoins.

I wish bitcoiners would fight against all governments, Big Tech, and banking cartels the way they fight against shitcoins

The problem is that a lot of “bitcoiners” are actually fiat maxis.

Be the change you want to see. George Washington wouldn’t have rallied people together if he ignored as many men as have reached out to you for organized engagement.
