Bitcoin Magazine shared: NEW – Micro Strategy CEO Michael Saylor: Facebook (Meta) wasted many years on Diem, should have adopted #Bitcoin instead.

Community Response:  Microstrategy spent over twenty years trying to get back to the level it was after Saylor lost $15B. Why anybody would take this man’s investment advice is beyond me.

Want to know what happened to nearly every tech company at that same time?

Yeah, it was a bubble, just like crypto. He wasn’t smart enough to cash out.  The exact same page you pulled this quote from shows Bezos losing 10 billion as the very next example keep coping.

Yeah, isn’t that funny? This guy lost 50% more than Bezos. He’s the All-Time Champion.

Michael Saylor has not made the best choices either. The dude has massive losses right now.

Why would they have adopted Bitcoin when their goal was to create a stable coin to support their e-commerce interests – Saylor’s comment makes zero sense?

Because Saylor believes the Bitcoin “network” will run the currency of the Internet/Metaverse. The bitcoin network can already take out Western Union. You can send dollars to Mexico and have it spit out pesos for grandma in a couple of seconds with only a 1 cent block fee.

I think Facebook has been around buying #Bitcoin for a long time, but they are silent, unlike Michael Saylor often announces it, maybe.

Logically we think, before Diem was Libra coin (but this failed), they already knew crypto was, only Libra coin not crypto more to ordinary Digital currency

Sometimes the simplest and most obvious solution doesn’t seem like it to everyone. Even Bitcoin.

This will be a common motif over the next 5-10 years.

“Should have bought #Bitcoin instead.”

Zuckerberg, would rather lose all of FB than admit the Winklevoss were right before him.  Again, because this time he knows he can’t steal BTC from them.

Also, IBM wasted a lot on initiating their own blockchain. Meta doesn’t want something they can’t control.

It’s true what Facebook (Meta) did because it wasn’t included in the Bitcoin scheme.

Bitcoin doesn’t have Smart Contract capabilities. Saylor is weird.

Yeah, all companies in all industries (Apple, IBM, Intel, Walmart, etc) should adopt Bitcoin and don’t even bother about product and R&D. Don’t bother about sales and profits, just adopt BTC and get rich. The world doesn’t need anything else just needs BTC, BTC, and BTC. The maxis way.

100% they should integrate Bitcoin lightning transfers into WhatsApp would be huge.  BTC is inevitable, most people don’t know that it’s giving us a chance to be able to earn more from crypto in general through crypto trading, most people tend to neglect it.
