Cardano (ADA) Virtual Summit on How Physics and Blockchain Relate By Esteemed Mathematician

For those who would like to know what Stephen Wolfram is likely to speak at the Cardano Virtual Summit, July 2-3, here is a gist about what the esteemed mathematician and CEO of Wolfram Research wanted to speak about.

Surprisingly to me in the last few months, I figured out a huge amount about how physics works and what’s kind of underneath space and time, how we construct all the things we know in physics from an underlying theory. Why is this relevant to blockchain?

I wasn’t sure.  The amazing thing is that it turns out that what is going on in physics is sort of the same as what’s going on in distributed computing and things like that. And things that we think about in physics to do with reference, frames and relativity, event horizons, and uncertainty principle in quantum mechanics.

All of these things, turn out to have amazing analogs in distributed computing. And, those analogs in distributed computing turn out, it seems to have some really remarkable implications for the blockchain world. You know, I’ve been involved in the blockchain world for a few years now primarily because our computational language, Wolfram language that I have been building for about 30 years now is sort of the unique language where we can express real world things computationally and that has allowed us to define for the first time sort of true contracts, not written in legalese but written in computational language. And, so I thought a lot about the sort of autonomous execution of computational contracts, and how that relates to blockchain. I think it is really exciting.

I think it is something, where we are able to take all the development that has happened in physics over the last 100 years and sort of import it in to the world of distributed computing and blockchain and I think some pretty interesting, remarkable things are going to happen as a result.

So, I’m looking forward to talking a little bit about it next week. Hope to see you there bye.

Cardano (ADA) Excited about the Summit

When commenting about the Cardano Virtual Summit, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert expressed, “it is good to see an exemplary mathematician correlate blockchain and physics not to Miss Cardano Virtual Summit.”

The Cardano Community is all excited about the summit.  The participants and speakers are excited as well.  Many of them who have not signed are ensuring that they are signing up.
