The ETC core development have helped ETC go through two successful hard forks, share updated tooling, and also to share other ecosystem resources. The Q1 and Q2 achievement reports were recently published.  There were two product releases v1.0.0 and beyond.

There is an expectation that there will be more of collaboration with other blockchain projects with a lot more to be announced this year.

In response, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “It is a significant progress from ETC with the Agharta hard fork, Phoenix hard fork, and Core-geth releases v1.11.0-1.11.7.  They have done more in tooling, consumer resources, documentations and demos.  Good luck for more.”

The hottest thing doing the rounds now is about how to run a swarm node.

Of note. Eth Swarm is a P2P decentralized storage network which is optimized for interoperability among EVM based networks. This means ETH Swarm will be able to provide a scalable storage layer for Ethereum Classic, and other EVM based block chains.

Ethereum Classic (ETC) Future plans?

Several investors have raised concerns over the main focus of ETC in the current market as the entire world is caught in the disaster created by the pandemic.  Many are wondering about what are the future plans for 2020?

Some new investors are not able to understand why after the Agharta Upgrade Live, ETC became Interoperable with ETH. Some are curious to know how ETC will contribute to DeFi and on the many ways in which ETC will be able to compete with ETH.

After the recent hacks on Vechain, IOTA, and Steem, investors are looking for some reassurance from ETC about their capability to sort this issue.

Investors are forever developing doubts over what ETC can will and might do.  Such investors would do well to participate in the many AMA sessions organized in the community to get a clear answer to all their questions.  Though several of such questions have been previously answered, the query continues. Interesting to see several investors have not resolved in understanding the differences between ETC and ETH.
