Chainlink official stated that the ChainLink Smart Contract Summit was one of the largest blockchain events of the year. They reinstated on how leading minds from across the industry discussed the current state of DeFi and the future growth of smart contracts.  They have also published on the key takeaways worth noting in their blog on the SmartCon recap.

Chainlink’s first of its kind Smartcon Summit is considered to be a major 2020 blockchain event. It consisted of 8,000+ attendees from 100+ countries and 130 speakers for 70+ talks, panels, workshops and AMAs.

Developers, dApp teams, node operators, researchers, and enterprise leaders shared their cutting edge research and thinking regarding the future of the decentralized technology.

Apart from this, a diverse collection of projects are getting built with Chainlink oracles on Ethereum, Bitcoin, and several other blockchains which showcase the state of DeFi today and this set the stage for high growth in the coming years.

SmartCon speakers from across the world pointed to a future of rapid growth and genuine enthusiasm to building decentralized systems using Chainlink. Therefore, bringing out DeFi Solutions and Enterprise Blockchain with high quality thus leading to a good community in the ecosystem.

The infrastructure facilitated by the ChainLink Oracle helps in expanding the capabilities of the smart contracts to provide value. Advanced protocols and financial models are making DeFi on SmartCon possible. These pave way for a much better development in the coming years.
