Blockchain is a technology like no other and it has recently garnered a lot of attention from individuals, organizations, and governments from all over the world. The world is beginning to see the true beauty of decentralization and what security blockchain has to offer. A lot of popular people are beginning to look in the direction of cryptocurrency by buying into Bitcoin. But, blockchain is not just the technology, it is the total sum of all people powering it. Cardano right at the heart of this happening has thought it wise to reeducate its community about their core values and focus. 

Via a blog post on October 7th, Elliot Hill, Cardano Foundation Team member, revealed that what is known as the Blockchain Technology is more than just the technology and the cryptocurrency backing it. He revealed that Cardano is focusing primarily on the coin holders, Developer community, enterprises and innovators, institutions and regulatory bodies, and stake pool operators. He identified that each of these parts that make up the larger community “can deliver diverse skills and unique perspectives to the protocol”. He stated that the Cardano Foundation is to synergize all the parts of the ecosystem to make a working community to achieve a common goal. It is core for the Development portal that will soon launch. 

“Moving forward, the Cardano Foundation will become the catalyst for this collaborative spirit, leveraging its position as a guiding force for Cardano and enabling fast-track value creation for inclusive and equitable growth of the protocol. Above all, the Cardano Foundation will seek to connect innovators, developers, enterprises, and our dedicated existing community to facilitate this growth.”

The Cardano Foundation recognizes and values the input of all ADA holders which was why it implemented the Cardano Improvement Proposal (CIP). The foundation has also used the avenue to utilize the wisdom of the crowd to receive opinions and ideas on how to move forward with Project Catalyst. 

Cardano will soon launch its Development portal to give voice to developers to implement their ideas with Goguen. The foundation had already created Request for Proposals “which award development funds to technical users who can solve complex problems and provide practical solutions to technical challenges on Cardano.” The Development portal will be instrumental to attract many use cases to the smart contract layer of Cardano- Goguen. 

Cardano has been reaching out and will continue to reach out to innovators and enterprises so they can see the beauty of a blockchain that is designed to scale no matter how large the users are. Goguen will be key in attracting them to create smart contracts and Dapps. The foundation is active in including regulators, institutions, and governments in its operation. It partly achieves this through its involvement in Proof of Stake Alliance.

As an integral part of the ecosystem, Elliot stated that Stake pools will have a place “for more guidance, information, tutorials, and staking news”.

The way has been prepared, the foundation has been set, the Cardano community can expect huge adoption of ADA in the coming days.
