Stellar Lumens (XLM) Looking for Full-Time Software Engineer and Transferring Assets to Different Geography

Stellar Lumens XLM

Stellar recently published that they are looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer to help design, build, and implement solutions for Stellar Ecosystem Partners. Those who are interested in designing innovative blockchain solutions for software and financial companies around the world might want to apply now.

Software engineers who become a part of the team will have the opportunity to work on several problems which focus on growing and scaling their global network. They are looking at self-motivated, multi-tasker who is a demonstrated team-player. The candidate will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products with further enhancements to existing products. Further details are available in the site.

In this regard, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Being a part of Stellar Lumens (XLM) Development team is indeed a good experience and those who can should not miss it.”

For those who have been following the Stellar Quest, The 6th challenge is on.  Those who are interested are up with their gear and thinking caps and have started to make the best of the chance to earn the challenge’s badge and a piece of the prize pool.

Denelle Dixon during the Podcast on Leaders in Payments stated that, Stellar Lumens are Hyper-Focused on cross-border transactions and payments.  Further reinstated that they are built for asset issuance, providing ease of use seamlessly where one asset can be transferred to another geography where it can be converted to a local asset.

Stellar Lumens (XLM) Custodial Non-Custodial Apps

There was a recent discussion about “Custodial vs. Non-Custodial Apps: Which Side Are You On?” on the Roundtable discussion.

Those who are building a product on Stellar or on any blockchain network are focused on figuring out on how to manage users’ secret keys. Reportedly, there are two fundamentally different approaches, and they’re practically and philosophically at odds: custodial solutions keep keys on behalf of users; non-custodial solutions put keys in users’ hands. The big question that got explored is on which one is more important to the Stellar ecosystem right now?

Cap – 27 makes custodial solutions a lot easier to build.  SEP-30 makes non-custodial solutions a lot easier to build.

However, neither of these solutions are readily accessible to the companies which are building on Stellar.  Each of them need the SDF and the ecosystem as a whole to put in time and effort to build out supporting infrastructure. A lot of work needs to be done to get these going.
