Several Stellar Community members do not have a clue as to what is Protocol 15, but they are all excited thinking about something having happened in the community. Some of them who understand what it is about expressed that the harder the one works, the luckier one becomes.
Protocol 15 consists of two new features like Claimable Balances and Sponsored Reserves. These features are going to make it easier than ever to build user-friendly apps on the network. Stellar pointed to how they have already seen both deployed to a great effect on the testnet, and they are expecting to see the good that it can do in the production environment.
In the process of upgrading networks to a new protocol version, validating nodes play a very important role. Being able to pull out a protocol change is a great thing because it takes a lot of coordination. The entire ecosystem has been diligent, patient and full of efforts to make the upgrade to the production environment a reality.
In this regard, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Stellar Lumens Network Upgrade for Protocol 15 has been coordinated well. They have given instructions for users to follow a smooth transition and on how to deal with errors.”
They have to state that installing the software which supports Protocol 15 is very easy and that it is going to be very easy to get up and running in no time.
Denelle Dixon in the closing speech at the Meridian 2020 had a clear look in to the conversations from different experts who participated in the event. It is very likely that they are going to push forward ideas and actions, particularly for SDF’s strategy for the year ahead from Meridian 2020.
