Stellar Lumens (XLM) Adoption Increasing For Stable Coins

Stellar Lumens Stable Coin adoption

Coin Desk pointed to how a Euro stablecoin is being issued by one of the oldest banks in the world and it’s being done on the Stellar blockchain network.

In response Denelle Dixon tweeted:  “Congratulations to Bitbond and Bankhaus von der Heydt for issuing a euro stablecoin (EURB), the first of its kind in Europe’s crypto market! This partnership proves how traditional banking and fintech can partner to deliver exciting new innovation in the digital currency space.”

Denelle Dixon also pointed to how adding a high-quality, bank-issued euro asset to Stellar can be meaningful for their users and builders on the network, thus powering a new wave of financial innovation, leveraged immediately by Stellar-based apps including DSTOQ, Vibrant, and Lobstr.

Also mentioned, this is a testament to the ways in which traditional banking and blockchain can work together, thus bringing together one of the oldest banks in Europe with a FinTech start up to deliver exciting innovation in the digital currency space.

Of note, one of the users pointed to how for every transaction made on the Stellar Network for any of the tokens issued on it, the fee is 0.00001 lumens.

On a funny tone, one of them stated, now we just need China to make it’s Stablecoin on the Stellar Network.  And, yet someone responded if that would happen it would rock the world.

Stellar Lumens Tuning Up the Community

Looking at all these happening many feel that XLM is highly underrated. There is a lot of work to help websites accepting Stellar Payments for crypto payment.  This gets done by integrating a Stellar Payment Gateway which can be used in existing websites, online stores, and social media accounts.

In this regard, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Before the whole world can accept, Stellar Lumens (XLM) adoption should start from a small group, then slowly spread across and this is already happening.”

Now Payments are offering Stellar Lumens integrations.  When it comes to accepting Stellar Lumens (XLM) there are different ways like donation widgets, payment widgets, invoices, and even plugins for all major e-commerce providers. Once the integration is activated on the website one is ready to accept payments in Stellar.

In the executive director message for Stellar Ecosystem Updates and Monthly Roundup, Denelle expressed that it is hard to believe that the year is coming to an end.  She however stated that she continues to be so inspired by their progress and by the many ways in which the community are lighting up the Stellar map. She also stated that she will be sharing some proof points in a 2020 recap later this month and requested that the community stay tuned.
