Roger Ver stated, It’s time for BTC to give up their claim to “Bitcoin”. It no longer resembles Bitcoin and it hasn’t for years. The title of the whitepaper explains it all.  Imagine being so brainwashed that you believe some humans need permission from other humans to transmit money.  Better cash makes a better store of value.

Some of them replied stating that Roger was trying to cope and others responded stating you’re not wrong, but you’re also not right.

Some of them were left wondering, Ok, but why Bitcoin cash and not Monero or any of these other cashes? As you know the market will always decide.

Let the market decide what the real Bitcoin is Roger, I think it’s obvious which one is the real bitcoin.

Some of them frowned stating:  Sorry. You know BCH is a clone of the original Bitcoin. This is not a good way to promote your product.

Laymen terms clarification read:  If new consensus is that an apple is now an orange, the apple is still an apple.

No matter who says what Roger is not giving up on the ideal that:  “Bitcoin Cash works as Satoshi intended. BCH is sound p2p electronic money.”

To those whom what Roger states makes sense hold BCH.

Someone who tried to justify Bitcoin (BTC) stated, for people saying Bitcoin is pure speculation and has no utility I will give examples of utility:

With the help of lightning network we can have fast and predictable low fees, this is especially great for medium of exchange which intern creates a good store of value. You can buy burger and pizza with Bitcoin lightning.  Because Bitcoin is still in its infancy compared to other currencies and it is not accepted everywhere like the USD you can buy gift cards from thousands of merchants.

There is also examples of where Bitcoin is being used by local people as a currency. It could be turned into any other currency under seconds to any other cryptocurrency that might be accepted: Litecoin, Dash and Bcash. And, lot of other great developments.

The war is not between BCH and BTC.  Each of them have their own way of being important for their users. There is no denying that Bitcoin has more users than BCH. Practically it is not possible to force a market. 

Some users stated, it is very obvious that Roger Ver is continuing to position BCH. However, fundamental difference between BTC and BCH is there is no individual like Roger Ver who promotes BTC intact the believers who keep buying but on the contrary, Roger keeps promoting BCH but fails continuously.
