Best way to transact BTC is Using Another Ledger to Move it like ALGO or XRP

Blockware Lead Insights Analyst Will Clemente, Blockware CEO Mason Jappa, and Microstrategy CEO Michael Saylor talk about Bitcoin regulation, volatility, market dynamics, and more for their weekly interview Podcast and YouTube channel series. Can now find the podcast on Spotify, Apple, and Google Podcasts as well. Runs for more an hour, 53 minutes and 04 minutes.

Michael Saylor Shared: “A review of Bitcoin & Crypto regulation & volatility, the perils of paranoia & virtues of diplomacy, challenges of crypto-applications, securities, & platforms, opportunities for institutions, how to deliver cyber security & killer apps via Lightning.”

Transcript of the Beginning of the Podcast for those who are curious: I think there is a lot of support for the entire crypto industry and Congress in the house.  It is pretty clear there is lot of Protocol support for the crypto economy. That is the number one take away. It was a fairly friendly hearing to my mind. And, it just reinforced on years of regulation in general, which are I mean everybody knows, we need stable coins. And, stable coins will be welcomed in to the ecosystem, but the preference of the regulators is insured banks.  The politicians are more flexible.  I think they will be happy to allow – at the end of the day it is going to be some sort of public vehicle where you have transparency, disclosure, and licensing of the stable coin. There is a little bit of tug of war about…”

Community Response:  How’s it going? Any updates on DeFi? Hey, guys. Haven’t been around for some time, found anything great for mining liquidity? They’ll even add NFT Staking soon, stay tuned!  I just wonder how long will the boxing day sale of bitcoin continue for?  What criteria do you think we can use to judge a layer-1 blockchain?  Scalability, security, and energy savings are the most important criteria for every blockchain.

This was incredible. Michael you are truly a thought leader in Bitcoin. So, many of the points that you made during this discussion really resonated with me

When it goes down, you sell, and when it goes up, you add. And then get ground to death alive. Most people’s fate is no more than this.

Lightning is rubbish. Best way to transact BTC is by using another ledger to move it like ALGO or XRP. BTC is just a big pool of liquidity for other utility cryptos to access.

I think it is the very time for crypto regulations of all sides. As it happens the number of investors and creators of cryptos will increase. And it will be prosperous time for all us involved in it.

Good-to-know information. Regardless, for retail investors the message is still simple and clear. Buy bitcoin.

Setting regulatory certainty is very important for Bitcoin. I’m opposed to the regulations, but the bitcoin businesses need to know the rules of the game in order to move ahead.

Anyone who thinks that a project that has been hyped before is bound to die because of the hype will miss out on a whole bunch of good projects.  Just like those who chase the “next hype” will buy into a whole bunch of crappy projects.

Saylor – Gary Gensler partnership.  WGMI, one step at a time.  Genius. Not everyone hears it this way or agrees.  Personally, one thing I can think of more fundamental than BTC is digital TRUST. It is going to be one hell of a journey.

Every country, everyone can own Bitcoin. It’s impossible for this journey.

This is a great review. It seems to me that there is a lot of paranoia in the crypto world now.

Bought extra BTC just a minute ago.  Great interview but seemed very bearish on anything not Bitcoin. I agree Bitcoin is and will be king but to think all else will be a regulated security means a stifling of innovation in the US. Not all countries will follow suit. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Yes, although it is very successful, it cannot obliterate the efforts of others. I think ETH is very good.

I thought you said there is nothing other than bitcoin.  Today, I notice you use the word crypto.  I am super curious to know why?

Michael, I watched this video, it was great. Thank you for being a leader, and helping others. Your time is valued by myself and many others. I appreciate you sharing your experiences so we can grow.

Saylor would make for a really cool uncles, unless you were really into meme coins; in which case, it would actually be quite scary. If u can transform BTC from a currency and method on payment into a property U are a real magician.

“Bitcoin is your bank account squared.” I think Buffet said something like that once.
