Monero Crowdfunding Pitch Idea for Discussion and Funding

Monero (XMR) price is at $50.98, with the 24-hour trading volume seen at $187,076,492. The price has been up to over the past 24 hours. The XMR is becoming very impactful, and the future for the coin is getting very bright. 

Riccardo Spagni tweeted about “3D printed Monero logos are the new hotness.” Out of the seven developers who have created XMR, 5 of them have chosen to keep their identities a secret.  The community knows only Riccardo Spagni and David Latapie.

Riccardo Spagni recently performed an interactive dance along with animations to advertise on BTSE. It has been published, “ Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, has been rendered speechless by the video. The only reaction that Buterin gave on the video was a “wat.” Nevertheless, it did not affect Spagni’s vibes, who continues to maintain his ‘mojo’ on the internet.”

Monero Projects Kovri and Open Alias

The Kovri project makes use of end-to-end encryption, and therefore neither the sender nor the receiver needs to reveal their IP address.  This is made possible by making use of the technology which powers the darknet.  The Kovri project is under active development and is not yet integrated to Monero. Bounty is not available for Kovri until Kovri Beta is released. It is now in the pre-beta release stage.

The Open Alias project provides “(Fully Qualified Domain Names, i.e., example.openalias.org)” known as FQDNs for Monero Wallet Addresses ensuring privacy for everyone.  This project simplified cryptocurrency payments.  It has already been implemented in several Monero Wallets.

For the projects, the bounty is released in Monero XMR only.

Monero Sponsorships

Several companies have sponsored the Monero project.  The Monero project has a goal of bringing financial privacy.  The company expresses their gratitude to the sponsors by listing them on their sponsorships page.  Further, the company welcomes as many sponsors willing to sponsor their projects.

Being community-driven, Monero uses Community Crowdfunding System (CCS) for members to be involved in helping proposals to be funded.  Those who have ideas pitch them in the community. If the concept is approved, it is picked by a developer team, and it eventually leads to community fundraising. Successfully funded ideas have their progression monitored.  As the tasks are completed, the milestones are achieved, and the funds are paid out.

Exodus recently tweeted:  “Monero is now supported in the latest update of Exodus Mobile.” Thus, users are not able to send and receive the XMR across Exodus Desktop and Mobile.
