Staking Rewards in Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) Compared

There is a clean uptick in the requests for blockchain and cryptocurrency training.  It is already a growing part of business.  However, it just looks like the growth of the cryptocurrency industry will never be possible in the absence of compliance, KYC, operating risks, and improved awareness of risk management among investors. Corporate crisis caused by poor corporate governance has led to many scandals in the cryptocurrency industry. Despite, the show in the cryptocurrency marketplace survives probably due to the technology element.  Trends are evolving.

Cardano have clearly explained how staking and rewards in ADA PoS versus ETH PoS functions.

Cardano (ADA) PoS:  Stake without locking, withdraw any amount any time, no minimum stake, rewards added to stake, Custody remains with ADA holder, select from thousands of stake pools, little technical expertise required, no slashing, newly-purchased ADA can be automatically staked, no need to disclose any key information.

Ethereum (ETH) PoS: Stake is locked, withdrawals are not yet allowed, minimum 32ETH except with third party assistance, rewards added to stake, custody passes to staking address or third party, staker sets up and runs a validating node or pays a third party to run it, Either technical or a third party skill is required, slashing risk from inactivity or misconfiguration, newly purchased ETH is not automatically staked, third parties need signing keys.

In the recent Cardano Summit, about 60,000 people participated reflecting the strength of Cardano.

Frederik Gregaard: “60,000 people took part in the Cardano Summit 2022. Some attended the main stage event in Lausanne. Others joined virtually. Many went to one of the 50+ community-led events across the globe. At Cardano, we definitely know how to scale!”

We had 80+ sessions & 70+ speakers across 2 days. The speakers covered themes such as SPOs, PoS, policy, meme coins, ESG, and entering the Voltaire era. We discussed the importance of education in the blockchain space and talked about a new membership-based organization.

Education has always been at the forefront of Cardano CF’s mission. It’s crucially important to arm yourself with the correct tools to navigate this industry. So, the Cardano Foundation is preparing an in-depth blockchain course.

Cardano Enthusiasts have to State that Cardano is already No 1.  They deny that there will be any point in argument about an alternative blockchain. The claim is that people will realize this when the bear market will be over when there will be widespread use of Cardano Products in real world. Typically, the Cardano guys are acting like Bitcoin Maxis. Reportedly, there are several live products on the ecosystem though.
