Theta Mainnet 3.0 is launching soon, and the community has been focusing on introducing Elite Edge Nodes and Tfuel Staking and Burning.  Theta has always viewed Ethereum as a positive force in the crypto space instead of being the Ethereum Killer.

Theta has a vision of adding new tools like:  Ethereum-compatible RPC API suite, Smart contract development tools, Truffle Suite and Remix integration, Metamask integration, and other components like Web3.js, Ether.js.

Thetaboard expressed:  Even if you know your Whitedoves from your BigDogs, the growth of our network still requires new people joining, so let us not overlook the basics. So what is staking on the Theta Network?

They were trying to reinstate on Staking on the Theta Network to ensure basics are not overlooked: Staking on the Theta Network is secure, and the tokens remain secure inside your Theta Wallet but are delegated to a node in the Theta Network; Provides Network Security because the node machine and staking assists in mitigating Sybil attacks on the Theta Network; Earn as you accrue rewards based on the number of tokens you have staked and your node uptime; Rewards Algorithm as the Theta Network algorithm randomly assigns staking reward payments weighed for the size of stable and/or node; Rewards with TFuel will arrive in the Theta Wallet you have staked from.

Community response to this reminder: When asked, Why Theta and TFuel staking payments changed from 11.64 and 4.85.  Too much smaller payments like 2.8, 2.9, 3.1 and 6.1 etc.?  Answer: All payments come direct from the network, and there have been some changes, as many have noticed. Unfortunately, I don’t have any extra information to share. Maybe smaller rewards more often to lessen the dry spells?

However, a seasoned peer clarified further, stating: Why not tell people that the fixed quantity of TFuel rewarded is divided into smaller and smaller rewards as the % of TFuel staked rises? At almost 40%, TFuel staked a 15k stake rewards the stake with 3.5 TFuel per day, or $1.05 per day. Not bad for a $6000 investment, eh?

What’s the cost fee for staking TFuel and theta with you? Our Theta staking is 3% fees of staking rewards. Our TFuel staking is currently 0% fees, but moving to 3% from August 1.

There were users who have to state that due to staked Tfuel rewards going down that they withdrew and shut down their EEN.  The actual rewards are worthless. “IMO, I sold all my Tfuel, and now I just will trade only with THETA.”
