Roger Ver expressed that private property is the fruit of one’s labor and it should be ours to enjoy as we see fit so long as we injure no other peaceful person.
However, one another community member expressed his point of view stating private property is partly the fruit of our labor, others’ labor, enabled by modern society & government infrastructure, and with a sprinkle of luck and timing. Further opined that no one is supposed to be very arrogant about thinking that private property has been derived by individual effort.
Community critics feel that Roger’s perseverance about what BCH should be like is admirable; however, many felt that he should work with some of the brightest minds in the cryptocurrency industry to improve adoption.
The original vision for Bitcoin was to have the average Joe and Jane to be able to use the spare resources of the PC; however, reality unfolded otherwise, where miners are having to make use of several thousands of mining rigs to stay profitable.
And, several new investors are getting misled to thinking that BCH is BTC! The name is very misleading and so is the domain name. Bitcoin (BTC) is a peer-to-peer electronic cash is a system that still works.
Pointing to the node usage in the community, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is expected to undergo a hard fork on November 15th, 2020. I expect to see lot of drama within the BCH community members about which nodes they are going to rely on!”
There is a silent community war about which node they want to use. Some claim the Coinbase rule is not needed, yet others feel the Coinbase rule is required. The Coinbase rule is a rule outside the Bitcoin Cash and that is the reason for all the worry and subsequent mess. Major debates and objections have already taken place and when the hard fork is complete everything will settle down.
Moving forward the community has to decide which Bitcoin Cash node they will approve. Until then, Trezor, Hardware Wallet Manufacturer has attracted criticism as they have stated that they will wait to see which BCH implementation will be supported by the community. They will decide whom to support depending upon which forked chain has the sufficient support to justify support for it.
Thus, those users who are holding Bitcoin Cash in the Hard Wallet should move it to some exchange until the details of their support is out.
