Ontology is a high performance, open-source blockchain, which focuses mainly on digital identity and data.
Ontology have recently partnered with Litentry, which accelerates its adoption in terms of decentralized identity and credit scoring solutions. The focus of this partnership is to increase adoption by 10K users. They are furthering their shared goal of ensuring greater data privacy and transparency.
Litentry is based on the Polkadot Network and it is a blockchain identity management layer. Ontology and Litentry have signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” with Litentry thus establishing a shared goal among themselves.
Both, Ontology and Litentry are pioneers in decentralized identity and data management solutions. They are focusing on collaborating to integrate with Ontology’s bespoke decentralized identity solution, DeID, and DDXF, Ontology’s decentralized data exchange and collaboration framework into Litentry’s identity aggregation and computation system.
As a result of the partnership, Ontology are set to make their DeID solution, and also it’s OScore, which is the company’s proprietary decentralized credit-rating system, which will be made available to Litentry for integration the DID aggregation technology to generate new use cases.
With time, the partnership is set to see Litentry build a cross-chain identity aggregator, which will be based on Polkadot. This will consists of a unique decentralized Web3.0 identity computation network along with the required tools.
Ontology and Litentry are focusing on onboarding 10,000 users to the DeID and OScore solutions, which will enrich the aggregated Identities. Their target markets are potential customers who are based in Europe, USA, Latin America and South East Asia.
Commenting on the partnership, Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “The Ontology and Litentry partnership are to onboard 10,000 users, if all goes well, I see there will be more users for the DeID and OScore solutions.”
Litentry have expressed that the magic of Web3 is that you will never be bothered with walled gardens. They further expressed that they are delighted to build collaboration with Ontology Network to deliver better DID service and decentralized credit solutions together.
DeiD can help in a lot of areas. The authenticity and verification of a person who is voting can be easily ensured. At the same time the required privacy for voting can be ensured. Eventually, no one will know who one casted their vote for.
Ontology are always coming up with new and interesting use cases for DeID with data and privacy tools. The partnership deeply care about protecting and verifying user authentications.
