Holo is a distributed P2P hosting platform for Holochain Apps (hApps) which is a bridge to the new internet.

The recent Holo developer update states, The Nano image is being sent to the manufacturer for testing. As we shared last week, we had a Nano updating HPOS.  They have published a video so that users can see Nano in action.

Of note, the cheapest way to support the distributed network and earn Holo fuel is by purchasing a HoloPort Nano.  These ports are plug and play.  They have a software that is already installed and it is optimized to run Holo.  Users need to simply plug in and begin hosting the network to earn the Holo Fuel.

Of note, the HoloPort Nano should be connected to an external HDD with external power to have storage space, and will need additional effort to set up. It should be easy as the process will be well documented and supported. Discounts are facilitated for high volume orders.

The amount of fuel that the user will earn for hosting depends on the price one sets for hosting and how much of traffic they get. When the network launches, it will not be clear as to what the supply/demand balance will be. If the demand is low, users might have to price competitively to attract traffic. Users might even need to set their prices low in the beginning just to establish a bit of performance and reliability records for the device.

They also stated, that they have successfully tested the Easy SSH and are preparing that for release with the next HPOS update. The team also stated that they have been evaluating community tester feedback, which they have received and stated that they will updates posted.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “HoloPort Nano specifications are lot similar to a single-board computer like Raspberry Pi. The more numbers of ports the more will be Holo Fuel earning capacity.”

There was a recent AMA HoloFuel Special and users will be able to get to know all they need to from the three videos.

While the product is getting ready some of the community members are tired and are complaining of the technical glitches and some of them feel there needs to be some strong vision and support.  Some of them are claiming to have been bored and that they are waiting for a working product.  Hopefully, things get better and all the waiting pays off.
