The price EOS is currently trending at US$2.69. There has been up by 2.2% over the past 24 hours. The EOSIO has come a long way in just one year.
The conversation below is heating up over deep thoughts related to the event on January 10, 2019, where “Government leaders from around the world will discuss their 2020 plans focusing on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.” The event will have 450 attendees on-site and remote attendance provided by courtesy of EZ-Xpo.
Daniel Larimer is one of the Keynote Speakers in the event. Other keynote speakers are Timothy Draper and Scott Stornetta.
Daniel Larimer tweeted: “In effect, to challenge unconstitutional laws, you must break the law, and the state must attempt to enforce it against you. If you lose, you go to jail. If the law loses, no one is in jeopardy of jail. Such a system is biased to move toward tyranny over time.”
While Daniel was pulling out a deep opinion, one of the followers, str11ngfello, commented: “It’s not a big deal, but I’ve been following you for years, and now I gotta say it… it’s “loses” not “looses.” Happy new year, Dan!”
EOS is continuing to strengthen its ecosystem. They are focusing on evolving to be the most performing blockchain software in the market. EOSIO strives to improve in vertical and horizontal scaling.
To improve on vertical scaling, they are working to “Build state-of-the-art WASM engines to improve smart contract performance, Explore improvement of throughput on multi-core machines via multi-threading feature enhancements, Continual profiling of nodes to identify targeted areas of improvement, Explore advanced database technologies to improve flexibility and throughput, Explore blockchain technologies that can provide more cost-effective access to scarce resources like RAM.”
To improve on horizontal scaling, they are working to explore a variety of Inter-blockchain Communication (IBC) mechanisms (Oracle-based, light-client based, etc.) to enable side- and sister-chain based scaling, Explore smart contract parallel execution, and Explore convenient layered abstractions for developers to build cross-chain decentralized applications.
Developers contribute to better tooling and faster app development. Ultimately, users can experience greater security and less friction. The EOS blockchain network continuously addresses the security requirements of enterprises, including facilitating improving support for hardware keys.
