The ease of digital identity for organizations and individuals offers countless solutions across a range of industries and institutional sectors for government education, health care, finance, retail, and real estate.

And, within these sectors comes these range of use cases, such as personal identity, licensing, registration, certification, insurance, medical documentation, the list will go on forever. An identity suite is basically a collection of application and developer tools that can enable full management of the IOTA Identity Protocol.

The project comprises two main applications with additional modules and integrations that leverage the IOTA identity protocols, which the talented developers are developing at the IOTA foundation, which are fully in line with the W3C standardized guidelines. For digital identities, the IDs and verifiable credentials matter.

So, the first application is to certify digital identity for organizations, enabling governments, businesses, and institutions with the ability to manage their identities and subsequently create and issue verifiable credentials to individual identity holders they deal with.

And, the second application is a digital identity wallet for individuals. It is a mobile identity wallet that offers self-sovereign identity to its holder. Thus, allowing anyone with the ability to own and control the digital identity and credentials. Therefore, putting privacy back in the hands of the identity owner.

With over 1 billion individuals in the world today who have no legal identification and an increase in falsification and data breaches and the rising security regulation, through the use of the IOTA identity protocols, IOTA Suite, we are starting to help make a change to this.
