Coca-Cola brings in real magic in a sip and therefore they say, “Real Magic is Just a Sip Away.”
Coca Cola is all set to bring in a new limited time product known as Coca-Cola – the name of which is Starlight. This is just one of the many innovations of Coca-Cola.
StarLight is all set to be available in the shelves from February, 2022.
Starlight is a limited-edition flavor variety. All the fancy stuff about this flavor: Space-themed beverage, taste as mysterious as the cosmos, notes reminiscent of stargazing around a campfire, refreshing taste that “evokes the feeling of a cold journey to space”; tasting like campfire, caramel plum and the feeling you get when you inhale really cold air, notes of cotton candy, and some say it tastes like floor.
They say, those who want to sense the taste of outer space should taste it.
Starlight is all set to be in reddit color and it is set to be available in a zero-sugar format in some locations.
Oana Vlad, senior director of global brand strategy at Coca-Cola, said in a statement, “Coca-Cola Creations aims to surprise, delight and engage global audiences through magical and unexpected tastes, moments and collaborations – something we know our fans have come to expect from us.”
So, what has Coca Cola Starlight has to do with Metaverse?
In an effort to join the Metaverse like countless other brands, Coca Cola has made it possible for users to be able to scan a bottle of Starlight, which will eventually lead them to experience a digital concert by Ava Max, the singer behind “Sweet but Psycho” and “Kings & Queens.”
Coca-Cola is also releasing clothing and merchandise related to Starlight as a part of their brand promotion attempts.
Some say Starlight coke has the well-known appearance of Coca-Cola, but when held up to the light, it appears almost red or purple. The company describes the drink’s color as being “inspired by the light of the stars.”
In the metaverse world, Coca-Cola Creations will introduce a series of limited-edition flavors, collaborations and experiences spanning the “physical and digital worlds” providing for digital first experiences.
Reportedly, in 2009, astronomers were able to identify a chemical called ethyl formate in a big dust cloud at the center of the Milky Way. Ethyl formate happens to be responsible for the flavor of raspberries (it also smells like rum). Space tastes like raspberries!
The Coca-Cola brand is also planning to introduce new “fantasy” inspired products under the Coca-Cola Creations banner in the metaverse space. Noteworthy, the limited-edition flavors set to launch along with starlight will only last for weeks or months.
Starlight will be available for about six months, according to Coca-Cola. New flavors are expected to be released under the Creations line, but the company wouldn’t say which flavors are next, or when they’ll be available.
Apart from the new flavors, Coca-Cola is debuting other physical and digital aspects related to its beverage.
