Mitch Liu expressed:  Happy new year Theta community! One part Theta ecosystem we’re excited for in 2022 is emerging TNT20 tokens for projects like ThetaCash. With several other community TNT20s launching in Jan/Feb, plus TDROP coming Feb 1st, the new year means major development for Theta ecosystem!

For clarity, the new TNT20 token provides utility not only for the Theta Network community and its ecosystem; however, it provides for the entire cryptoverse and the Metaverse that is forth coming.

ThetaCash (TBILL) is a purely algorithmic approach to bring down the volatility of cryptocurrencies. It is a synthetic commodity money, which will be based on algorithmically enforced elastic supply. TBILL does not claim to be a stable coin; however, it has low volatility and it is designed with a focus to diversify risk.

Medium states, “ThetaCash (TBILL) is launching as the first TNT20 token that can cross over to multiple networks. With the protocol being chain-agnostic TBILL tokens can simultaneously exist on multiple platforms, giving TBILL the possibility of expanded utility on other blockchains & Metaverses in the future.”

Community Concerns:  Question 1:  You’re gonna launch new tokens. So what is the benefit for those loyal Theta token hodlers? If your new projects with new tokens are not bringing any benefit for the original Theta hodlers or investors, then why we need to invest Theta anymore?

Answer:  Please get it right THETA token is for Blockchain governance and security. TFUEL is the currency in theta ecosystem. new TDROP token is the governance token for ThetaDrop NFT marketplace. All the tokens are a part of theta ecosystem. Each of them plays a different role.

Reaction: Tricky. Theta is a project that uses so many different role tokens that I’ve seen Haven’t find other systems need so many role tokens. (I don’t see Ethereum or other systems use so many different role tokens) Hopefully Theta token is still useful.

Question 2:  I don’t know everything about Theta, so let me ask this: Will every Theta Wallet automatically be able to hold and send all TNT20 tokens? i.e. my Ledger? Or do apps/support have to be built around each one?

Practical Approach by experience:  You have to consider more security for your wallets; I was staking on both guardian and edge node, but my wallet got hacked so easily and ridiculous, and I lost every single of my tokens! People be aware of their lack of security and don’t waste your money for their 1% APY!

No whitelist, no Authenticator, no nothing, and when you stake to a node with your wallet, and if by any chance your wallet gets compromised, you can’t do anything! They will unstake all of your tokens to your old wallet.
