Brock Pierce on Collaboration is what EOSIO (EOS) Blockchain Needs

Brock Pierce expressed:  I offered to swap my shares for rights to EOS tokens that are restricted by time so I could align my efforts with the EOS mainnet. B1 did not want to sell their tokens, but were focused on getting them in hands that could maximize the mainnet growth.

B1 has several plans in the pipeline that are not designed to monetize their stake, but are focused on growing the ecosystem, and I support those efforts because I believe they facilitate rewarding existing EOS token holders, and liquidiity of EOS-based projects.

I don’t think EOS will benefit from authoritarian control over account balances that will undermine property rights, and I think the ecosystem should focus on collaborating together to succeed.

I think Bullish will provide important infrastructure for EOS – infrastructure that other exchanges have obstructed. Exchanges are the liquidity & awareness platforms that are core to the industry, & we need an ambassador on those fronts – I believe Bullish will provide this.

Helios is designed to empower the EOS community and create abundance within the EOS ecosystem through a broad composition of institutional pipes, growth capital, and early stage funding.

In summary, I think collaboration is what EOS needs, and division and confiscation of property rights will hurt the network integrity in ways that are not inviting to new participants, undermine trust in public blockchains, and won’t lift the network up in ways that unity can.

Community Response:  Beyond this we also believe it’s past time for EOSIO chains to start working together as a whole ecosystem. Similar to what Cosmos is excelling at. EOSIO IBC – and take up a spirit of cooperation among chains opposed to competing.

EOS died due to infighting. Short term hope is low. Long term chance.

Definitely not dead. Hope is low though I’m as excited as ever as a strong constellation of independent pillars have emerged.

A lot of people can’t help it anymore. Time and energy have been wasted, but you are still persevering. I need to thank you, and I sincerely hope that you are capable of doing it well.

So why did it take them 3.5 years to get any tokens to you to focus on main net growth.

The network had a number of structural issues that have been resolved. Eden, Helios, ENF, Pomelo, Bullish, etc. The constellation of the network is an ideal structure for long term success. The stars are finally aligned.
