Building the fighting functionalities of CryptoBot with Tezos (XTZ) Smart Contracts

tezos cryptoverse cryptobot

Tezos is seen excited about Cryptoverse Wars, which is an interactive code school that teaches how to build DApps on Tezos by making use of Smartpy_io.  The course is already live.

The course helps the learners to write basic smart contracts.  This looks like a parallel universe like that which is potrayed in Ready Player One and also The Matrix.

At present in the Cryptoverse, there is an Alien invasion which is threatening all the species by waging war.  The war is waged in hopes to control over it.

Of note, the only known species which can fight the Aliens according to them are the Cryptobots, which is a species powered by rare gems which provide the Cryptobots with the alien-killing cosmic superpowers.

The mission is to build the cryptobot’s fighting functionalities making use of Tezos smart contracts.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Cryptoverse Wars is a very interesting method to help users learn how to code.  Building the fighting functionalities of CryptoBot.  An interesting move.”

So, when the users complete one lesson, they already know how to assemble the Cryptobot to wipe out the first wave of Aliens for good. It is good that attempts are being made above and beyond to make the coding experience an enjoyable one for beginners.

Tezos (XTZ) Insights and Updates

Recently, a mobile app was launched by “Tezos Nodes” for the community.  The app will be particularly useful when it comes to getting to know the Tezos news, rating bakers, knowing the Tezos Network data, reward calculator, using the personal account, and to get the list of inactive bakers.

These features will now make it easy for users to choose a reliable Tezos Baker for Delegation.  The active members of the community have contributed a lot to make this app a success.  While some of them felt that it was slow and needs some improvement, the developers have acknowledged the feedback and they have offered to facilitate with some improvement.

Recently the 1,000,000 block was baked in Tezos.  And, yet another progress reported by TulipTools was about the new version of Tplus. The notable features were to manage Tezos nodes and sandboxes, install related software, e.g indexers/explorers, automate common tasks, and the very intuitive web UI.

Meanwhile live AMA sessions are keeping the community knit together.  Those who are looking to stay updated are looking at Tez Talks, Baking Sheets, and Tezos Insights and Updates.
