Nervos Network (CKB) Common Knowledge Base And Several Interesting Facts

Nervos Network CKB Knowledge Base

Matt Quinn on the Nervos Network Common Knowledge Base (CKB) stated several interesting facts.

When exploring Common Knowledge, it is that which is known by everyone with reference to the community in which the word is being used. For instance, when I see a stop sign I know to stop and everyone knows to stop as well. With common knowledge, the society can function more efficiently. We all know that everyone is going to stop and we don’t think about it and it becomes automatic.  A green light is also an example of common knowledge.

Common knowledge in Bitcoin context is all of the balances and transactions that happened and everyone in the network knows that is the same information, we can all treat that as money.

Nervos Network is not just money, but it is also common knowledge. It is important to understand the States – Data that can be acted upon on a blockchain, in Bitcoin it is the pieces of digital gold and their owners, in Ethereum it is the balances of the different users. It is the current snap shot of the network as this is always changing, and it is required by the full nodes.  In Nervos CKB it is the cells.  These cells can do anything, it will programmed and strung together.

The big question is why create Nervos? Why start a new public blockchain? Go through a great extent of work and light up all relationships and pray that nothing go wrong? Especially when we have all of these systems that do magical things.

We have EOS that does 3000 transactions a second, Ripple that does 50,000 transactions a second, TRON with 2000 transactions a second. So, do you think we will be celebrating all of these technical achievements – that is not true at all.  We have all of these terrible headlines like block chains don’t scale, blockchain is crappy technology, and blockchain is not good for payments. He covered a lot more correlating interesting facts.

Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted:  “Too much gold is never bad.  Despite there being lot of new blockchain based technologies, it is not bad to have one more.  Nervos Network (CKB) has its part to play.”

Nervos Grant Program

Nervos tweeted:  “Excited to announce our newest grant project: “@leapdao ‘s EVM-compatible sidechain framework for Nervos With this, #devs can utilize existing #ETH contracts & tooling to build sidechain apps that leverage the security and flexibility of #Nervos!”

All the exciting researches will become futile can go haywire without funding. Nervos is making things possible.
