Bitcoin Inventor Craig Wright’s Claims Challenged as Supporters Distance Themselves

In a dramatic twist to the ongoing saga involving self-proclaimed Bitcoin inventor Craig Wright, doubts about his claims have escalated as his last remaining supporters distance themselves. After years of legal disputes and court battles, the credibility of Wright’s assertion that he is Satoshi Nakamoto is in jeopardy.

Recently, Christen Ager-Hanssen, who served as the Group CEO at nChain Global until Saturday, publicly announced his departure and raised questions about Wright’s credibility. Ager-Hanssen not only exposed internal conflicts within nChain but also cast serious doubts on Wright’s claim to be the elusive Satoshi Nakamoto.

“I can confirm I have departed from nChain Global […] I have also reported that I have found compelling evidence that Dr. Craig Wright has manipulated documents with the aim to deceive the court that he is Satoshi. I’m today myself convinced that Dr. Craig Wright is NOT Satoshi […] The board didn’t take action, and my job became clearly untenable. #faketoshi,” Ager-Hanssen declared on social media.

This revelation gains further significance in light of a leaked email purportedly from Calvin Ayre to Craig Wright. Ayre, who was once a staunch supporter and financier of Wright’s endeavors, appears to express deep skepticism and dissatisfaction with Wright’s ongoing legal disputes and the veracity of his claims. An excerpt from Ayre’s email reads:

“Right now the only negative in my life is your litigation disaster. I will accept your explanation that you did not actually threaten me, so the following is the situation we find ourselves in. I have been operating under the assumption that you and Ramona have the keys and you were simply pretending not to have them as part of some strategy. But now we are looking at a situation where continuing to deny you ruins your life and damages your supporters.”

Critics within the Bitcoin community have long called on Craig Wright to sign a transaction using Satoshi Nakamoto’s BTC to substantiate his claim as the inventor of Bitcoin. However, Wright has consistently refused to comply with these requests, even in various court proceedings.

Now, Calvin Ayre also appears to have reached a breaking point. In his opinion, the COPA court case seems destined for defeat unless Wright signs a transaction using the Bitcoin mined by Satoshi Nakamoto. Failure to do so could result in Wright losing not only his last significant supporter but potentially one of his most substantial sources of funding for his legal proceedings.

The growing skepticism surrounding Craig Wright’s claims as Satoshi Nakamoto is sending ripples through the Bitcoin community and the broader cryptocurrency industry. The questions raised by Ager-Hanssen and Ayre underscore the need for concrete evidence to substantiate such a monumental claim.

Bitcoin’s Enigmatic Origins: The Satoshi Nakamoto Mystery

Bitcoin, the groundbreaking cryptocurrency that has reshaped the world of finance, emerged in 2009 under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. The true identity of Nakamoto has remained one of the most significant mysteries in the digital age. While Craig Wright’s claim to be Nakamoto has garnered attention and controversy, it has not been without its share of skepticism.
