Coca-Cola partnered with Tafi to design virtual wearables. These digital wearables are to be worn in the Coca-Cola Metaverse. They make the non-fungible token (NFT) collectibles in the Coca-Cola metaverse.
For those who do not understand, an NFT is basically a unique digital asset. From art to a video clip to a music sample — anything that lives on a machine could be an NFT. The difference is all in the term “non-fungible.” Fungible tokens or things are not unique. Also, fungible tokens are divisible.
Selman Careaga, president at Global Coca-Cola Trademark, said in a press release:
“We are excited to share our first NFTs with the metaverse, where new friendships are being forged in new ways in new worlds, and to support our longstanding friend and partner, Special Olympics International. Each NFT was created to celebrate elements that are core to the Coca-Cola brand, reinterpreted for a virtual world in new and exciting ways.”

The Coca-Cola Friendship Loot Box NFT, is a reimagined version of Coca-Cola’s highly collectible vending machine.
The vending machine once opened contains a futuristic Coca-Cola Bubble Jacket Wearable, a Sound Visualizer to capture the experience of sharing a Coca-Cola, and a Friendship Card inspired by Coca-Cola’s trading cards from the 1940s.
