Celsius expressed:  Hey Celsians.  There was an error within the MATIC price feeds earlier today. If received a margin call today for a loan against MATIC, it is most likely an error, and our team is in the process of reviewing all MATIC margin calls.

Our loans team will reach out to you directly if you need to provide additional collateral to keep your loan secured. As a reminder, we will always do our best to keep you updated about your loan status to avoid liquidation.

Update – An error for MATIC and SNX price feeds from our 3rd party provider triggered margin calls earlier today. The issue is now resolved without any liquidations, and our team is working on resolving any margin calls that were issued as an error.

Community reaction was like:  What was the error and how did it occur? Where do you get your price feeds?

Is it an internal issue or an oracle issue? Could be the same for Aave? Great. How about the MATIC rewards? I received rewards for my other coins but not yet for MATIC.

Apparently, you don’t use Matic ChainLink price feed. It means you are very unprofessional at what you do. This is very concerning. Why do you not use ChainLink for your price feeds? We thought you were already Chain Linked?  Why simply don’t Use the standard? Chainlink fixes this. It’s never failed.

It’s not great to be honest, took the shine off the interest payout today as received both notifications at same time. Whilst I could see it was an error it still doesn’t detract from the concern caused by it

Did the same thing happen to ADA? Was showing a spike under $0.20 this morning?  Does anyone have issues with receiving verification emails from Celsius if they’ve signed up using appleID and hiding email?

I added additional collateral after I got this notification. How do I get my funds added back to my account to not lose interest payment?

And I can see that the payout interest was also affected for some coins SNX -as it’s based in the USD value.

Shouldn’t be the case, interest snapshots run from Friday to Friday, then paid each Monday. It may effect next weeks, let’s hope they’ve sorted that.
