The Matic Network mainnet is now live. The first step of the mainnet rollout beginning the network with an initial set of validators is now complete. Of note, the mainnet has already produced 43K blocks, which can be tracked using the block explorer link.
It just looks like the real journey for Matic Network has begun. It is expected that the upcoming developments will further improve on the horizons of the Matic Multifold on the front of its offerings and potential to make it possible for a large part of decentralization. Looks like the first chapter has begun and miles to go.
One thing that the community noted was that this was one of the biggest milestones for Matic and that there was no pump.
Matic had stated that users should have the funds on the main Ethereum Network to delegate their tokens. They have link to answer queries related to the delegation process. Further, the staking on the mainnet is now live. Investors are beginning to stake to begin earning rewards.
Sandeep Nailwal recently made a presentation which clarified on how the Layer 2 will power the future of the blockchain gaming at a Digital Gaming Conference organized by the DGC Dubai. He further stated that real-time gaming experiences are likely to be as good as the traditional world with blazing fast transaction speeds.
Sydney Ifergan, the crypto expert tweeted: “Hopefully, the forth coming months are good times for the Matic Network with their Mainnet already in action now. Happy staking.”
One of the members expressed his happiness by stating that games have been historically resource intensive and that it was crucial for the blockchain to facilitate the needed system resources and the performance for a low cost.
Matic recently spoke about how Binance US have enabled recurring buys for the Matic. Users were also permitted to set recurring buys weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly.
