America, the Birth Place of Digibyte (DGB) and Mass DNS/Domain Level Censorship, Need for Blockchain DNS

Digibyte

Jared Tate: Fun fact, the latest Bitcoin v22 has 3,438 code conflicts across 768 files with an additional 20,000 name change differences compared to the latest Digibyte v7.17.3. DGB is very much its own codebase, blockchain, and, most importantly, its own amazing community.

Community replied, stating: You do not need to update core whenever Bitcoin does. You can work with v21 and implementing more features and change two algorithms for ASICS resistant, and that will do the magic.

That’s crazy. Good luck to the BTC developers. I hope they are also doing code reviews.

A user who had nothing serious to say stated, “America is the birthplace of Digibyte.”

Pointing to how there are now over 24,000 cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide, some community members wished to get the DGB ATM.

Jared also spoke about how he wrote in his book Blockchain 2035, the overly centralized DNS system is the Achilles heel of the internet, and it’s easy for tyrannical governments to shut down and censor at will. I just took what happened four days ago:

On July 22, 2021, a large chunk of the internet dropped offline on, and several popular sites, apps, and services on the internet were down, which also included UPS and FedEx (which have since come back online), Airbnb, Fidelity, and others were also reporting. In addition, steam, LastPass, and the PlayStation Network were also experiencing downtime. Also, several websites around the world also got affected, including media outlets in Europe.

This incident Jared cites is the problem associated with DNS. He reinstated, stating, I am hearing from good sources the Western World is on the verge of mass DNS / domain level censorship. Social media de-platforming is not enough. Everyone should become familiar with TOR browsers and addresses as well as IPFS ASAP. Blockchain DNS tech is needed now.

Jay Money Coach stated, Digibyte is limited like Bitcoin, but instead of 21 million, it’s 21 billion. With the more significant number, it’s faster with a lower fee. When this is recognized, DigiByte will be 1/1000th of Bitcoin. Equivalent to $40 right now.

Others stated that DGB would forever be mined in the one cent to 20 cent range without wholesale change. Ethereum recognizes this, and the crypto community knows this; why doesn’t DGB?

Some keep wishing that Digibyte will be VERY lucky to even hit 0.20 dollars.
